Key Members of Congress to address NAB2003

NAB2003 attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Members of Congress and their staffs at two separate convention events.
On April 8, six members of the 108th Congress will be featured panellists at the NAB2003 Congressional Breakfast held at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Senators Conrad Burns and Norm Coleman, and Representatives Rick Boucher, Eliot Engel, Gene Green and Lee Terry will participate in the annual 'Congressional Breakfast' which will be moderated this year by Steve Newberry, president/CEO, Commonwealth Broadcasting Corporation, and vice chairman of the NAB Radio Board of Directors.
Later that day, on a panel entitled 'Legislating the Airwaves', seven congressional aides will discuss the behind-the-scenes, decision-making process on Capitol Hill.
These staffers, who advise key Members of the House and Senate Commerce Committees, specialise in telecommunications policy.
NAB Senior Vice President External Relations, John Orlando, said: "These Members of Congress and these aides are the people most directly involved with broadcast legislative issues.
"We're very excited to have such top-notch guests this year."
NAB2003 takes place April 5 - 10 in Las Vegas.
