Red provide title sequences for flagship BBC series

Red, a leading design and post-production facility, have announced their involvement in the BBC's flagship current affairs series 'Correspondent'.
Red worked closely with series producer Simon Finch to design six title sequences for specific programmes in the 'Correspondent' series, which features highly respected journalists reporting on subjects close to their heart.
The current series includes reports by Will Self on New Labour's policy on arms sales and Maggie O'Kane on the hunt for Radovan Karadzic.
Red's previous collaborations with BBC Media Arc include title sequences for programmes such as 'FA Cup Match Of The Day', 'Football Focus' and BBC's 'Sports Personality of the Year'.
Henry Cummings was tasked with designing a generic title sequence that could be adapted to include images of each of the journalists and their subjects for episodes in the series. Mr Cummings developed a fractious feel for the reveals of images and typography that reflected the hard-hitting subject matter. The job demanded a creative approach coupled with a quick delivery time frame with Avid DS selected for its speed and flexibility to complete the project.
