Aeta Reveal APP For Professional Audio Recording

With apps available for almost everything these days, it won't come as too much of a surprise that AETA, manufacturer of the audio codecs Scoopy+ and Scoop 4+, has developed eScoop, an app for professional audio recording and broadcasting, in collaboration with Dutch pro-audio developer Technica Del Arte (TDA).
With nothing more than an iPhone, iPad, Mac or PC and perhaps an external mic, eScoop makes it very easy for reporters to capture live audio and broadcast it with professional quality codecs through mobile wireless or wired networks. eScoop also allows the playout of prerecorded material while broadcasting, created using a simple editing tool.
There's a vast array of built-in codecs including MP2, AAC, AAC-HE, AAC-HEV2, G711 and G722 and the use of the SIP protocol makes it easier to establish a connection and maintain network security.
So now anyone with an iPhone can be a live reporter.
