Nominations Released For IVCA Awards 2012

The IVCA has revealed the nominations for the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the visual communications industry's calendar.
A broad range of leading companies from across the communication industries are in the running for this year's awards. Now in its 24th year, IVCA Awards are recognised as the premier marks of excellence for effective business and public sector communications in video, interactive projects, business television and digital media. The event will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on the 23rd of March and has seen a complete revamp in categories and entertainment.
Following consultation with the IVCA’s membership, the industry body chose to redesign the ceremony taking a more results focused approach, removing some categories to streamline the event and introducing exciting new opportunities for entrants such as the Creative Breakthrough Award in partnership with the drpgroup and the Media Trust, a prize recognising up and coming talent in the visual comms industry by asking them to respond to a challenging brief. The event has also stepped up the entertainment with more opportunities for celebration than ever before.
Tickets are moving faster than ever before in the run up to the event and Marco Forgione, CEO of the IVCA commented on the new look scheme: "Once again the IVCA Awards provide a unique showcase of the outstanding work that that has been produced over the past year. The quality and range of entries this year has been exceptional. drpgroup has put together an amazing programme for the evening and with projects recognised from a wealth of corporate sectors and from the leading businesses in our field all in attendance, this year promises to be a real milestone for the IVCA Awards and our membership."
