RTW Racks Up TM7

A developer and manufacturer of audio metering devices has added further flexibilty to their TouchMonitor by introducing two new rack mountable versions of the audio monitor.
RTW, the developer and manufacturer of the TouchMonitor, the revolutionary audio metering device, has expanded the range with the addition of two rack mountable versions, the 20700-VID and the 20700-3U.
Technologically, the new units are identical in functions and features to the table top TM7, the seven inch TouchMonitor, but are easily and securely installed with any other rack mountable hardware. They have eight analogue and eight digital (AES3 or AES3id) ports and offer the same wide choice of software options as the desktop units including loudness metering to the latest EBU R128 specifications and a display emulating moving coils.
The 20700-VID is a half 19” 3U plug-in module designed for installation into a standard 19” rack mount waveform monitor frame and the 20700-3U has been built to slot directly into a 19” 3U rack where two units may sit side by side if required. Both devices have a front panel USB port for uploading and exporting user pre-sets, software licence updates and firmware upgrades.
The rack mount units join the previously available OEM panel in offering adaptability and economic use of space in the studio or workstation. The OEM version is a highly customisable user interface for integration into furniture, other products and systems such as mixing consoles and is available in a nine inch version as well as the seven inch.
