A manufacturer of digital audio solutions is set to give away two tickets to a conference which will tackle issues currently faced by audio professionals in the broadcast industry.
Audio standards in television have been a hot topic in industry media recently and many companies are jumping to provide solutions and discussions.If loudness is an issue that is of growing importance to you, the Loudness Summit is the place to be for the low down on delivering compliant, high quality broadcast sound.
The venue is the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects in Portland Place, London W1 and the day's speakers are all major players in the loudness game. They represent leading broadcasters and manufacturers and include Peter Pörs the MD of Jünger Audio, the developer and manufacturer of the Level Magic algorithm for loudness management.
The Summit's chairman, Florian Camerer, chairs the EBU-group PLOUD that masterminded the current EBU R128 and ITU-R BS.1770(2) loudness recommendations in broadcasting and is a Senior Sound Engineer at ORF the Austrian Broadcaster.
The loudness topics under discussion will include the issue for viewers,the challenge for broadcaster,legal standards and compliance,measuring and managing throughout the entire workflow, correction, verification and logging, file based analysis and correction.
Meanwhile the impact of metadata, real time and offline tools for correction and setting the volume once will also come into focus.
