Avid Update Interplay Toolset
Avid has introduced a new version of its enterprise media management solution, called Interplay Media Asset Manager (MAM) 4.
The audio and video solutions manufacturer claim that the new updates to Interplay will ease the pressure of supplying content to multiple screens.
In a bid to meet the increasing demand for faster and more efficient ways to ingest, manage and repurpose content for a wide variety of distribution platforms the firm have introduced new software that facilitates workflow collaboration and is easily scalable as necessary.
Avid said: "Interplay revolutionizes workflow by changing the way media professionals access, create, distribute, and manage media."
The new features will allow users to configure metadata, control movement of media between Interplay MAM and storage systems and leverage a service-oriented architecture (SOA)-type structure to easily integrate in-house and third-party applications.
