First UK Demo Of Mistika Comes To BVE

Developer of high end solutions for post production, SGO, has announced that their reseller Pixelution is due to host the first ever UK demonstration of the latest Mistika version 6.5 at BVE North.
Pixelution is set to showcase what they describe as "exciting new features" of the Mistika version 6.5, at stand 107 at BVE North (Broadcast Video Expo) on 16 - 17 November 2011 at the Manchester Central Arena.
With the reputation as the most powerful DI and Stereo 3D post production tool in the market, Mistika was selected as the system of choice by Park Road for the dailies workflow and post production of Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit'.
Pixelution will show how Mistika enhances a quality driven business, based on its unrivalled speed, highly developed functionality, openness, flexibility and ability to integrate seamlessly with other systems to work collaboratively.
Meanwhile SGO is sponsoring the 3D Revolution Theatre at BVE North this year, and will feature a compelling Mistika Case Study of the Blackpool Tower 4D Experience film, courtesy of Sharp Cookies. All aspects of the film, from production through to post, and how Mistika was used at the heart of the post production process, will be presented. Audiences will find out how Mistika's incredible toolset efficiently handles both the challenges and creative demands of production.
SGO has implemented a raft of new tools and improvements to the already very capable colour grading features. New functions include a fresh implementation of 'printer lights' - a popular tool for many colourists, as well as support for the latest Tangent Devices 'Elements' control surfaces.
Although Mistika is already well known for having an advanced Stereo 3D toolset this area of development has not slowed down by any means. The equipment enables the most advanced features of the latest digital cameras to be integrated easily into any post production workflow, which include RED EPIC HDRx support, ARRI ALEXA and many others.
