Digitaline Purchase Mistika HD And DI Post Production System

Based in the centre of Paris, cutting-edge visual effects post house Digitaline, has stepped up its colour grading capabilities, by purchasing a Mistika HD and DI post production system.
Digitaline's decision to invest in SGO's Mistika, was based on its strategic move into cinema, where specific requirements and client demands have to be met with exacting standards. Digitaline was looking for a professional grading solution that also offers the additional benefits of first-rate stereoscopic 3D functionality, which they found in Mistika.
Established in 2004, Digitaline is led by a highly experienced and talented team, providing clients with pre-production, on-set supervision, VFX and CGI services for commercials, music videos and television design. The CGI pipeline is based on Autodesk Maya and Pixar Renderman, Maxwell and procedural renderers such as E-on Vue. Mistika now plays a key role as the finest finishing solution at Digitaline, and has also been placed at the heart of the company's workflow infrastructure. Digitaline also has exciting plans to grow further, and is expanding its R&D department to develop in-house tools and technical innovations.
CEO at Digitaline, Julien Lefevre said:"With over 20-years of experience in advertising, television and media, Mistika is a dream come true for me. Acquiring an open, innovating and efficient technology-based solution for stereo 3D, such as Mistika, has given Digitaline ambitions to open exciting opportunities for new experiences in the years to come."
Marcos Silva, Sales Director of SGO's German Reseller, Fes Media said: "We are delighted that Digitaline has embraced Mistika and will benefit from its tremendous capabilities. Mistika is a clear leader in DI and stereoscopic editing and post production, attracting the best companies around the world." Marcos added:"Its revolutionary workflow solution is an award-winning investment and asset for companies that want to stay ahead of the game."
With impressive high profile projects credited to their name, which include M&M, Le Mans, Citroen, Playstation and Samsung, Digitaline is also currently working on the CGI and VFX for Elsa Zylberstein's latest music video, a television commercial for Pepsi featuring Eric Cantona as well as four CGI cartoon commercials for Bureau Vallée.
