BVE North Attracts Major Support

The organisers of Broadcast Video Expo has announced the launch of its new event, BVE North this November.
It has been created to meet the additional needs of those working in broadcast following the BBC's move to Media City.
With 70% of stand space already sold, major broadcast industry names confirmed include Harris, Avid, root6, Cirro Lite, Panavision, ARRI, Holdan, HHB, AJA, Film Light and Vision Research. Seminars, technical sessions and networking opportunities soon to be announced will provide thousands of industry professionals with up-to-the minute insights and advice on their individual business sectors, whilst co-location with The Media Festival offers visitors additional business, learning and networking opportunities this November. Visitors are already demonstrating their support of this new event and registrations are strong.
Event Director Charlotte Bowskill, commented: "The high take-up of both exhibiting space and visitor registrations confirms the need for an exhibition outside of London and especially to Manchester with the continuing BBC move.
"We are securing some very exciting regional speakers across a range of topics and, with support from industry associations, will offer all visitors a technical and educational experience along with the traditional networking opportunities."
Held at Manchester Central on the 16th and 17th November, BVE North will compliment its sister show, BVE which takes place every February in London.
Broadcast Video Expo is the UK's leading event for those working in production, post and delivery. It attracts visitors working across all aspects of the television, video, film and audio industries all looking to touch, test and compare the latest products and services available.
February 2011 saw the biggest BVE yet with over 300 exhibitors and 15,964 visitors attending over the three days - a 27% rise on last year.
