Peli Cases For Total Equipment Protection

News Image
The Peli range of protective cases, for cameras and broadcast gear, has been developed over 30 years and the company can now boast of more than 60 sizes of cases, offering the widest choice to the customer.
Peli Protector Cases have become well established in the market as essential protection for broadcast and photographic equipment, offering watertight, dustproof and crushproof security.
Features include easy-open, double-step latches to secure the contents while metal reinforced padlock protectors stop the case from being cut or pried open. Foam inserts or padded divider systems are available to customise the interior to protect the contents against impact, vibration and shock.
Jonathan Young, an award winning documentary television cameraman with a reputation for filming in some of the world's most challenging and hostile environments, has to trust that not only his camera kit will get to locations but the gear inside remains protected and in one piece.
Jonathan has trusted his valuable camera cargo to Peli since 1996. He said: "I own or have owned around 50 Peli cases, from the very smallest to the big 1650/1700 series. Over and over again, the TV camera kit inside my cases has been round the world several times and been at the mercy of baggage handlers in airports in every place you can think and some you have never even heard of!Not once during the tens of thousand of kilometres I have travelled with my kit in Peli cases has one of them let me down. I have travelled by plane, 4x4, pick-up and camel. Peli has yet again passed the Jonathan Young toughness test!”
Larger, wheeled cases have been added to the Peli range in response to the demand for the safe transportation of broadcast and AV equipment. As screens have got larger and larger, so have Peli cases. The 1640, 1690 and 1780 are all new additions, giving more options for customers to find the ideal case for their requirements.
Peli Storm Cases are also now available. There are 23 models to choose from, all Peli Storm Cases feature the unique and durable Press and Pull latches which open smoothly, yet hold fast when the case takes a beating. O-ring sealed and watertight, each model also has an integrated Vortex valve which keeps water and dust out while automatically adjusting internal air pressure to ensure the case is easy to open at any altitude.
Peli Storm cases are manufactured from Pelican’s patented HPX high performance resin which makes them lightweight, and virtually indestructible. Durable, wide, soft-grip handles with rigid cores make the cases comfortable to carry. A variety of interior configurations is available so Peli Storm Cases can be easily customised to protect all types of equipment. And, not forgetting…all Peli cases carry the legendary lifetime guarantee.
