Source Celebrates Arturia Distribution Deal

Source Distribution celebrated its recent appointment as exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for Arturia with another VIP press and dealer lunch, held in the private dining room of the world-famous Scott's Restaurant in Mayfair, London.
Howard Jones, Source's Director of Distributed Brands, took the opportunity to outline Source's continued success to a select group of 25 key UK press and dealers, as well as introducing this exciting new brand.
During the lunch, Arturia Product and Marketing Manager Romain Dejoie delivered a fascinating summary of Arturia's history and key products, with special mention given to the newly-released Analog Laboratory keyboard and the Spark drum machine system, and closed with a promise that Arturia have many exciting innovations yet to come.
Alongside insights into the history and inspiration behind Arturia, Dejoie was keen to emphasise Arturia's excitement at working its new partner: as both a source of fresh inspiration to the company, and for the considerable marketing abilities, dealer network and in-house tech support now available to Arturia customers in the UK and Ireland, through Source Distribution.
Delighted to welcome Arturia to Source's distribution portfolio, Jones also introduced key new members of staff appointed during the past year, including the new Northern Sales Manager Jonathan Burrows, and as part of Source's continued expansion, the appointment of the newly-created position of Marketing Co-Ordinator to Alex Theakston. Jones also outlined the key benefits by which Source Distribution will support Arturia - through the power of Source's ever-mobile sales force, ensuring product availability through holding robust levels of stock in the UK, and ever-increasing visibility for Arturia products via its powerful marketing abilities: in-store, in print and on-line.
Commenting on the event, Jones said: "We always like to stage really memorable events to celebrate the addition of new brands to the Source portfolio - and we were delighted to welcome so many industry colleagues to Scott's. As well as looking forward to a great new relationship with Arturia, we also wanted to highlight the fact that despair the tough economic conditions of recent years, Source has continued to flourish and grow - both, in terms of turnover and the size of the team. So far, 2011 looks like being another record year for us, and we're very optimistic indeed about the future."
