Leitch win significant BBC News order

Leitch Technology have announced that the BBC have chosen NEO for 36 channels of digital infrastructure, to run bi-directionally between BBC News' new digital video server system and their wider analogue environment.
The order comprises seven FR-3903-E racks at the central hub, housing 38 AVM-3901-A multiplexers, along with 38 DMX-3901-A de-multiplexers running under Leitch's CCS Pilot control and monitoring software.
Twenty-two FR-3901 racks, each housing one DAC-3981 and one ADC-3981, will be supplied to provide bi-directional audio conversion to digital edit stations at dispersed locations.
