Avid Boosts Its Pro Video Team With A Raft Of New Hires

Avid has announced three new hires to further boost its Pro Video sales and channel partner teams across EMEA.
The new team will be solely focused on sales of video products and services through its accredited partners and will enable closer collaboration between Avid, its channel and their customers to provide an improved customer experience.
Mark Bainbridge has been appointed Northern Pro Video channel Sales Manager, EMEA. He will be responsible for managing sales and pre-sales technical support teams in the UK, Ireland, Northern Europe and Israel, as well as accredited Avid resellers in these regions.
Mark has over 20 years' experience in broadcast and pro video sales and joins Avid from Sony where he spent 15 years in various senior roles. Most recently, he was the general manager for the UK broadcast division, where he oversaw channel sales, direct sales, marketing and pre-sales technical support for all Sony broadcast products.
Mark was on the European team for channel development and was jointly responsible for the development and implementation of the Sony Specialist Dealer Accreditation Programme. He's also been credited with managing the channel sales team through five years of consecutive growth, resulting in doubling the size of the Sony UK Broadcast channel business. Mark will be based at Avid's UK headquarters in Pinewood Studios and will report to Arne Petersen, Director EMEA Pro Channel, Avid.
Louisa Maguire has been appointed Pro Video Channel Partner Account Manager. North EMEA. Reporting to Bainbridge, Louisa will be responsible for maintaining relationships with Avid's reseller channel. She joins the company from LANDesk Software where she was the EMEA telemarketing manger and oversaw a team of 12.
Rachel Daly has joined Avid as Customer and Partner Sales Representative after spending nine years of Microsoft. As part of Rachel's role, she will be driving sales of Avid's award-winning video solutions into the educational market.

Avid has strong relationships with its channel partners and I'm certain that Mark's team will grow these relationships further, ensuring that Avid and all its partners continue to work together to best serve our customers' needs."
