Heavenly Appoints New Business And Marketing Chief

Award-winning branding agency, Heavenly has announced the appointment of former Red Bee Media executive Alanna Clear as Head of New Business and Marketing.
Alanna will work alongside Heavenly's CEO Richard Sunderland to define new business strategy as the agency continues its strong growth.
Alanna joins Heavenly with ten years' experience in the branding advertising and broadcast industries, including two senior roles with Red Bee Media. Most recent;y, Alanna was Business Development Manager for Red Bee Creative and Red Bee Media Commercial Team, with a specific remit to develop a new business proposition for the company.
This focused primarily on preparing non-broadcast brands for the opportunities of web-enabled TV and required a thorough understanding of the market and its financial potential.
As Strategic Planner at Red Bee Media, she worked across a range of high-profile UK and international broadcast accounts, providing both strategy and design planning. She also established a dedicated naming brainstorm unit for brand and channel names and programme titles. She previously spent three years as Account Manager at advertising agency AMV BBDO.
Between her Red Bee roles, Alanna filmed Going The Distance, a documentary following her road trip across the Americas in search of the secret to lasting love. In early 2011, Matchaffinity.com licensed the idea for a UK trip to generate advertising and online content. It was produced by advertising agency Mother and production company Fresh One.
Richard Sunderland, Founder and CEO, Heavenly, said: "We are delighted to have Alanna on board to further strengthen the Heavenly team. Not only does she have a wealth of experience in the industry, she also has a natural flair for creative and strategic thinking and will prove an invaluable part of our new business strategy moving forward."
Alanna Clear added: "Heavenly is the most exciting and innovative branding agency in its field and I'm thrilled to be joining the company during a period of strong growth. As well as reinforcing Heavenly's industry-leading reputation in channel branding, I will be looking to coordinate a substantial push into a number of new sectors to build upon the agency's burgeoning reputation."
Heavenly's recent projects including the positioning, naming and on-screen identity for new BSkyB brand Sky Atlantic, brand strategy and creative services for Fulham Football Club and the rebranding of premium digital advertising company Ocean Outdoor.
The company recently scooped 12 awards at the Transform Awards - Europe's only dedicated celebration of rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation - for its work on Rovi and Imaqliq, including the prestigious Grand Prix Award for excellence in branding.
