Ultrasonic Film Cleaning System sets standard

Introduced at IBC 2000, the CF8200 Ultrasonic Film Cleaning System, has now become the new standard for cleaning valuable and sensitive film.
The CF8200 which uses HFE fluid in place of chlorinated solvents was awarded an Emmy in July 2000 together with Consolidated Film Industries (CFI) for their joint development of this new machine. This prestigious award is in recognition for achievements that exhibit a high level of engineering which are considered important to the progress of the industry.
The CF8200’s new design includes a dual refrigerated vapour recovery system, hard plumbed copper lines, new air management and higher output ultrasonics, which allows use of HFE hydrofluoroether for excellent dirt removal results.
