Prospect Appoints Senior Creative

London and Cardiff-based factual producer Prospect, a DCD Media company, has hired Cal Turner in the new role of Executive Producer.
Starting on April 4 2011, Cal will executive produce new shows and series made by Prospect as well as working with the company's development team and pitching new ideas to broadcasters.
Cal was Series Producer on the recent seven-part series Jamie's Dream School for Channel 4, and has built a strong reputation as a producer of high profile factual programming for the major UK broadcasters. Her credits notably include Tower Block of Commons (Channel 4), Find Me A Family (Channel 4), factual entertainment series such the 9-part Freaky Eaters Series 2 (BBC Three), and the six-part ASBO Teen To Beauty Queen (Five), to name a few.
DCD Media-owned Prospect most recent commissions include the major 6-part series Misbehaving Mums To Be, due to transmit this spring on BBC Three, two-part BBC documentary Passion of Port Talbot, fronted by Martin Sheen, and the company is in pre-production on a major documentary drama about the life of Shirley Bassey due to air later this year on BBC2.
