Charlie Sheen Fired From Hit Sitcom

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen has been fired from the hit US sitcom Two and a Half Men, Warner Bros Television has announced.
The studio released a statement which said: "After careful consideration, Warner Bros Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on Two and a Half Men effective immediately."
It is understood that no decision has been made on the future of the show, which is the most popular show on the CBS television network.
The remainder of the current season of the show had been cancelled last month amid increasing media reports about Sheen's private life and following remarks made by the star about the show's producer and co-creator Chuck Lorre.
Sheen, who is the highest paid actor on US television, had a contract with Warner Bros which ran until the end of the 2012 television season.
