Sonopress launch CD-on-demand service

Sonopress UK have announced they are now offering a CD-on-Demand service which should prove ideal for cost-effective short runs.
Aimed at music labels, software publishers, marketing and design companies and corporate clients of all sizes it will be available for quantities of between 1 and 500 discs. The service is very competitively priced and also offers a unique, high-quality digital print facility which is comparable to the mass-manufactured product.
Designed for Promo CDs, Back Catalogues and short run CD-ROM's, the service uses the latest CD-R burning and digital printing technology to give a high-quality, commercially acceptable product with up to 74 minutes of programme length. Sabine Leuerer, Sonopress Special Projects Director, says: "We have designed it so a client's production staff can directly access our CD-on-Demand service via an Internet link.
Ultimately, they can make their own CD-R using our service. We'll just pack them into boxes and ship them out. We are also planning to offer a service for 'Business Card-on-Demand' and a 3" CD-on-Demand in the very near future".
As additional services, Sonopress offer individual or sequential on-body numbering and software watermarking, as well as complete digital asset management.
