GTC Set For BVE

The organisation for cameramen, the Guild of Television Cameramen (GTC) will once again have a stand at the important BVE show in London in February.
This year it will be looked after by GTC's new Exhibitions Officer, Dudley Darby, assisted by various GTC Council members.
A recent statement said: "Why not drop by and find out what the GTC is up to this year?
"Dudley and colleagues will be delighted to see you and you can be sure to meet lots of other cameramen there throughout the three days," noting that the GTC's stand number is 166
Meanwhile, the broadcast union BECTU's Western Freelance Branch is holding its 1st Trade Fair to coincide with the branch AGM in Bristol on Friday 4 February.
The event is free and open to all and will be at Arnos Manor Hotel, Bath Rd, Bristol.
GTC sponsor companies, including Vinten and ARRI will be among the exhibitors, Films at 59 will present RED camera and 3DTV sessions, and GTC Council Member and Health & Safety expert Guy Littlemore will be leading seminars on H&S and risk assessment.
