Hannu Pro To Distribute Bridge Technologies Monitoring Solutions in Baltic States
Bridge Technologies has announced a partnership with leading Baltic-states system integrator Hannu Pro.
Based in Riga, Latvia, Hannu Pro represents more than 50 of the world's leading broadcast equipment and software manufacturers, and the company's portfolio now includes the VideoBRDIGE line of digital media monitoring products.
VideoBRIDGE is the most comprehensive advanced headend-to-set-top-box monitoring solution to broadcasters, telcos and network operators.
Kalvis Baumanis, General Manager, Hannu Pro, said: "As an integrator of complete media production and distribution solutions for broadcast and IPTV applications, Hannu Pro is excited about the very comprehensive and powerful VideoBRIDGE monitoring environment. Since the mid-90s, when economic liberalisation began in the region, there has been an accelerating growth in the media sector, with many established and new operators carving out new business opportunities. Demand is strong for an optimum monitoring environment, and the outstanding benefits of VideoBRDIGE's end-to-end monitoring environment will be received with great interest here."
The award-winning VideoBRIDGE series of probes offers an innovative approach to the monitoring and analysis of converging services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards such as MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, DVB/ATSC and ETSI TR 101 290, the VideoBRIDGE series offers a complete end-to-end system for the continuous quality assurance of a network from satellite to set-top box. With full support of the innovative MediaWindow, the VideoBRIDGE series is at the forefront of digital TV measurement and monitoring technologies.
Phillip Burnham, Sales Director, Bridge Technologies, said: "Hannu Pro has a strong strategic presence across the Baltic region, and it will be important partner for us. The Baltic states have a strong technology sector, and the value of the VideoBRIDGE system will be clear to Hannu Pro's customers in expanding media industries."
