Moondance appoint Executive Producer
Moondance Productions have appointed Paul Arnott as Executive Producer, responsible for feature film and international documentary development within the company.
Paul began his career as an arts and entertainment journalist in London with Time Out and The Independent. He then spent three years at the UK’s then largest independent television producer, Mentorn Films, where he was series editor for their daily arts show on Channel Four, Box Office, and produced and directed their entertainment coverage from across the world, including major festivals from Cannes to Edinburgh, New York to Bangalore.
He was then asked to join the Guardian Media Group as Executive Producer devising and implementing their new television strategy. After two years he set up his own company, Edenwood Films, providing many terrestrial broadcast documentaries, leading to an exclusive alliance with the Royal Shakespeare Company. This provided programming worldwide and led to him producing the RSC film A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Channel Four and Miramax. He is currently developing a movie, Knock Three Times, with his director Martha Fiennes (Onegin) for Dreamworks.
As a writer he is co-writing a television series for BBC1 called Whisky in the Jar.
