Xytech to reveal systems updates at IBC

Xytech Systems Corporation, a leading provider of media asset and workflow management software, will be showcasing new versions of Enterprise and MetaVault, its flagship scheduling and media asset management systems, on Stand 1.151 at IBC 2002.
A major new feature of both products is the ability to translate the user interface, including the Help function, making the solutions more attractive for users who do not have English as a first language. The German language version of Enterprise will be running on Xytech’s stand, while other languages will be available on request.
The latest release of Enterprise also offers new auto-update functions, configurable user toolbars, a spellchecker, new Instalment Request Invoicing features, enhanced auditing tools, and a new Collections Module to help improve cash flow.
The new version of MetaVault supports multi-site vaults, warehouse management, procurement of media and advertising/publicity materials, invoice matching and many other new functions designed to help television network, postproduction and studio operations maintain control of their media assets.
In addition, Xytech will be showing FMS2000 v4.5; this entry-level system provides easy scheduling and facility management functions for smaller post houses, recording studios, and television production facilities. FMS2000 v4.5 now support the new Palm O/S-based Symbol Barcode Scanners.
