DRG Goes Global With Seven Ages Of…

A leading international and independent TV acquisition and distribution company, DRG, has announced worldwide primetime deals for Renegade Picture's latest BBC Three factual entertainment series The Seven Ages Of...
The news coincides with DRG's MIPCOM launch of Renegade Pictures' all new Channel 4 (UK) factual entertainment commissions Heston's Mission Impossible and Beeny's Restoration Nightmare.
Patrick Roberts, Senior Vice President of International Sales at DRG, confirmed: "The Seven Ages Of... is a fascinating and entertaining series following one person’s experiences of marriage, pregnancy, drinking and dating across seven very different generations.
"We can confirm that this brilliant and original BBC commission has been acquired by more than 30 territories worldwide, including for big primetime slots on BBC America, ABC Australia, NRK Norway and TV2 Denmark.
"We're very pleased with these deals and will be showcasing more of The Seven Ages Of... along with launching Heston's Mission Impossible and Beeny's Restoration Nightmare to our buyers at MIPCOM next week."
The Seven Ages Of... has also today been acquired by ERT (Greece); Nelonen (Finland); Skjar Einn (Iceland); TV3 (Sweden); TV One (New Zealand). The UK broadcast version of the show is called Cherry Goes...and the latest instalments are airing throughout September and October as a flagship series as part of BBC Three's autumn line-up.
These three new factual entertainment titles are a result of DRG and Renegade Pictures' first-look deal, which was created in 2007.
Additional ongoing successes between the two companies include the internationally popular Mad About The House and Don’t Tell The Bride, which is now produced locally in seven countries and watched in more than 120 territories worldwide.
