Tieline Expands Sales Staff With New Appointment

Leading codec manufacturer Tieline Technology has announced the appointment of broadcast industry veteran John Bisset to Tieline's sales staff.
As Tieline expands its presence in the Americas, John joins Mary Ann Siedler, who spent 12 years at Telos Systems.
The two will be responsible for business development and Tieline's presence in the Americas. Darren Levy, International Marketing Manager for Tieline Technology, said: "John is perhaps one of the industry's best known broadcast sales engineers, having sold broadcast products for over twenty years. His commitment to serving the customer makes him an excellent fit as Tieline expands its staff in the US."
Bisset is best known for writing the Workbench column in Radio World. He was also selected as Educator of the Year by the SBE, and is committed to ensuring that engineers get the most from new technology. Bisset said: "Audio over IP is a new concept for many engineers. I look forward to helping engineers expand their knowledge and reap the benefits of Tieline's unique approach to this new technology."
Tieline is a manufacturer of high quality audio codecs, which can be used in remote, satellite, distribution and STL applications. At NAB, the company was awarded multiple product innovation awards for its iPhone application, Report-IT Live, which permits the iPhone to be used for hand-held live reporting or remote cut-aways.
