ForeTV Is An EPG Genius!

MSA Focus has now added another important integration feature for its ForeTV management system - a transparent interface to the market-leading EPG system, EPGenius from HWW.
This interface is already implemented in ForeTV's installation at Asian satellite broadcaster Astro, where it provides live schedule information for 127 television channels.
As well as transferring all schedule information for large numbers of channels, and maintaining it as late changes are made, the interface also automatically generates series link references. This means that viewers have a rich and easy to use interface without costly manual intervention by the broadcaster.
"While broadcasters with vision are keen to adopt a process driven approach to their business, the special nature of our industry means that there is a need for a lot of interfacing between systems and technologies," said Mark Evans, Chief Executive Officer of MSA Focus. "We are in the unique position of understanding the underlying need for these interfaces and links, and also being able to implement them thanks to our Microsoft .Net and Windows Workflow Foundation architectures."
ForeTV from MSA Focus is a business oriented broadcast management system. Built on the Microsoft .Net framework it provides a unified environment bringing together asset and media management, scheduling, traffic and sales, billing and invoicing and business analysis. The information and processes needed along the broadcast timeline are organised into modules containing data libraries and task oriented tools relevant to each stage in the transmission process.
