Softel CEO To Take Part in IBC Industry Review Session

Softel CEO Sam Pemberton will join a panel of leading industry figures for the IBC 2010 session The State of the Media Industry - Are We Over the Worst? Part of the IBC 2010 Added Value Conference Stream, the session will take place on September 10 at 8am.
Peter White, Director General of the IABM, will use the session as a platform to present new research commissioned specifically for the session, giving attendees a completely up-to-date picture of where a wide selection of both broadcasters and technology vendors believe their business is today as well as prospects for the future.
These findings will be followed by a panel that brings together business leaders who have successfully navigated their organisations through successful transitions during difficult trading conditions.
The panelists will discuss how the economic downturn affected their business environment, how they reacted to these changes and what they see for the future. They will provide insight in to what it takes to succeed in the modern broadcast ecosystem.
Pemberton will outline Softel's evolution during this critical time and discuss the company's renewed focus on understanding the challenges faced by broadcasters and network operators who are upgrading the services they offer, while reducing costs and increasing productivity.
