New Appointment For FremantleMedia

The commercial and brand extension arm of FremantleMedia, has appointed Emmanuelle Namiech SVP, Content & Development for EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
Based in London with FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME), she will report into Global CEO David Ellender.
Following recent announcements around FME's aggressive drama push worldwide, this appointment marks another move for FME as it concentrates on further expanding its global rights business.
In this new role, Namiech will be responsible for sourcing, developing and acquiring content from Europe and Asia-Pacific for international distribution across all platforms.
Additionally, she will be charged with developing new relationships with content creators and rights owners as well as managing FME's strong portfolio of existing relationships through first-look/development deals across all genres. Namiech will also serve a pivotal role in contributing to FME's growth strategy through acquisition of IP/Content not originated for television.
Ellender commented: "FME is exceptionally placed to drive the creation of new high quality content for a worldwide audience as well as develop and expand on the content currently within the FME portfolio as a part of its global rights business.
"Emmanuelle's past experience across all genres and the strong relationships she has within the industry internationally will further cement FME's stronghold in nurturing first class relationships with IP creators."
Namiech said: "FME is a true pioneer in its approach to third party relationships, especially above and beyond the traditional television platform. David's intuitive foresight in pursuing wide-ranging content and his great knowledge of the international marketplace are exciting to be involved with as we continue building upon FME's already impressive stable of partners."
Namiech will be working alongside Jeff Tahler, SVP, Acquisitions & Development for the Americas, based in Los Angeles. The recent addition of Nathalie Drouaire to spearhead European development and co-financed English language drama production underscores the strong investment FME is putting behind its innovative IP with international appeal.
Namiech was previously Director of Content Acquisition at ITV Global Entertainment where she was responsible for overall management of its content and building the company's portfolio by acquiring, developing, co-producing and investing in new programmes across all genres.
Previous to ITV Global, she was Director of Acquisitions & Co-Productions at Granada International, ITV and served as Territory and Co-Productions Manager at Carlton International, Carlton Communications where she was repeatedly promoted during her tenure at the organisation.
