Bond film relies on ODR

Pinewood Studios have been relying on Optical Drive Repair (ODR) to solve their data storage problems for the new James Bond film – “Die Another Day”.
Specialists to the film and sound industries in the repair of all devices, ODR have been instrumental in ensuring the continued reliability of their Magneto Optical (2.6Gb & 5.2Gb), DAT, Exabyte and Hard Drives for both Sony and Akai equipment. Many of these devices are integral to Pinewood’s Avid and Neve editing suites, without which production would not be feasible.
This is not the first time that ODR have come to the aid of the production studios. In the past they have worked for such films as Harry Potter and Gosford Park, often turning repairs around in very short time-scales to meet demand.
Although they also deal in data recovery, ODR are branching out into the supply of data storage devices and the associated media.
