Deadline Extended For The Conch

The deadline for nominations for the UK Screen Sound Awards 2010 - 'The Conch' has been extended until July 8.
There have been some amendments for this year's awards, with the facilities categories being altered to:

• TV Mix Facility
• Film Mix Facility
• Commercials and Promo Facility
• Sound Design and Editorial Facility (for film, TV or commercials companies or departments)

In addition, the Commercial of The Year category has been widened to include promos for TV.
Industry professionals can use the simple online forms found on the 'Nominate' section of The Conch website (www.ukscreenassociation.co.uk/conch)
Nominations can be made by anyone who has worked on a project, whether in a facility or studio or as a freelancer and production companies that are related to a project, or would like to nominate a person or facility they have worked with. Up to five nominations can be made in each category. After a validation process, the voting stage will commence. All nominations must relate to work screened or broadcast between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.
