Hungary Keen For ITV Studios Programming
An international TV distribution, home-entertainment, merchandising and licensing business has sold a substantial programming package to Hungary's 4 Story TV ahead of DISCOP this week.
The deal was brokered by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
Entertainment channel 4 Story TV, which broadcasts in the Hungarian language, has acquired a slew of detective drama programming including new series of the highly successful Agatha Christie's Poirot, Agatha Christie's Marple and Shaftesbury Film's Murdoch Mysteries.
Jennifer Ebell, Senior Sales Executive for Central & Eastern Europe, The Baltics, Turkey, Greece at ITV STUDIOS Global Entertainment commented: "Our long running, high end dramas continue to be in demand throughout Eastern Europe and we're delighted to be working with 4 Story TV to bring these internationally renowned shows to local audiences."
