Picturehouse Score With Isolation

News Image
Described by Ken Loach as "an important document of the experiences of ex-soldiers told through the eyes of someone who knows," Isolation is an impressionistic portrait of the emotional and physical aftermath of war.
The documentary follows Photographer and Ex-Soldier Stuart Griffiths as he travels across England uncovering the personal and controversial stories behind the military statistics. A quarter of British ex-soldiers sleep rough when they return home.
Isolation tours Picturehouse and selected partner cinemas from 14th July 2010

.
The film premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival, and subsequently toured the international festival circuit.
In early 2010 the film was accompanied by a live score and sold out two dates at the Roundhouse and the Barbican.
Isolation has received numerous positive reviews as well as catching the attention of Director Ken Loach.

Co-Director Luke Seomore, who wrote the film's haunting original score, will be performing an exclusive interpretation of the soundtrack live at all the screening dates, with musicians Michael Garrard (Chips for the Poor) and David Stephens (Stained Glass Heroes).
