Stepping Up To The Teleplate

News Image
An renowned innovator in state of the art broadcast technology has now launched it’s new range of products.
Teletest, specialising in top of the range broadcast equipment have now introduced the simple but effective lightweight Teleplate camera plates.
Managing Director Nick Rose commented: "These heavy duty yet lightweight camera plates are essential for EX1 and EX3 operators and owners. We've heard many a sad story of cameras falling off tripods because of their inadequate fixing holes. The Teleplate solves this problem by being firmly fixed to the underside of the camera making a strong contact between it's base and the tripod."
Mr Rose added that: "By using Teletest’s range of VCT toe pieces and tripod mounts, the camera can be used with the most popular quick release broadcast tripod systems."
Dave Crute of Rock Steadi Pictures who helped Teletest in the development stages of the products added: "The Teleplate is unique because the optional shoulder mount can be easily fitted when needed, resting over and behind my shoulder. By adding the power distributor I can use my existing broadcast batteries, whether PAG, V-Lock or Anton Bauer. This improves the balance and provides more comfort and battery life when I'm shooting for longer periods."
The Teleplate system is compatible with Teletest’s 3D camera rig the Binorig and is available now from Teletest or their dealers.
