Cinewessex Partners Monty Don

News Image
A leading television and video facilities house, has helped facilitate the return of one of the most popular and well-loved gardeners and presenters, Monty Don.
Working in association with Betty Productions, Cinewessex has provided the camera equipment necessary to bring to life Monty’s first television appearance in two years.
After his long absence from the small screen, the nation’s favourite gardener is making a welcome return, this time to Channel 4 where viewers will see Monty making a departure from gardening and garden design. His six-part series, My Dream Farm follows the experiences of ordinary people as they fulfil lifelong ambitions of moving to or starting up a farm.
Shot over the farming year in 2009, each hour-long episode is filmed using Cinewessex’s digibeta equipment.
Participants in the programme have few skills and no experience. Their sheer determination and enthusiasm for the task in hand, however, whatever it may involve, partnered with Monty’s support and his knowledge gained from over 40 years farming, makes for compelling viewing.
Joe Conlan, Cinewessex’s Facilities Director said: "Our company is involved in many projects, from corporate films to commercials, broadcasts to viral marketing and it is always a joy and a pleasure for the team to be involved in projects that have a truly human element.
"It has been a privilege to have been part of My Dream Farm, experiencing first-hand the highs and lows of peoples struggles to succeed."
