Deluxe Enhances Digital Workflow Strategy Via Arion

A provider of a broad range of entertainment industry services and technologies to major Hollywood Studios and an international client base is pleased to announce an enhanced digital workflow and increased capacity through its Arion Communications unit.
Deluxe London, a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, have provided Arion with valuable resources to help cater to their clients needs. Arion's secure 6000 square foot telecine facility operates adjacent to Deluxe’s laboratory at Denham Media Park and is within easy reach of central London, Heathrow Airport and Pinewood Studios.
A leading facility in telecine services for both video and streamed data dailies, Arion has added a Spirit 4k telecine suite, providing additional capacity to complement its existing Spirit and Shadow HD suites.
The new facilities incorporate DFT’s Bones data workflow system, designed to manage the entire production process from ingest to the creation of a colour-graded dailies master, rapid picture and sound synching and an integrated colour-correction toolset. All HD suites are now connected to a data room from which data can be transmitted to clients via Arion’s new Storage Area Network. Utilising a 1GB upload connection and LES1000 circuit, Arion clients benefit from encoded dailies and DVD files delivered through both SohoNet and a number of uploading and project management technologies by DAX, PIX, Aspera and MCDS/Signiant.
