Sky Movies HD Returns To Golden Globe

The 67TH Annual Golden Globe Awards will return to Sky Movies HD & Sky1 HD, following a successful first run last year.
With the full nominations announced the awards ceremony is on course to be one of the best yet.
British talent will be well represented on the night with Colin Firth, Emily Blunt, Carey Mulligan and Dame Helen Mirren receiving one Golden Globe nomination each and British comic actor Ricky Gervais hosting the star-studded awards ceremony.
Movies in the front running include Jason Reitman’s ‘Up In The Air’, Rob Marshall’s ‘Nine’, James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ and Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Basterds’. ‘Up In The Air’ leads with six nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for George Clooney, followed by the all-star cast musical ‘Nine’ which have received five nominations, including Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis and Best Supporting Actress for Penelope Cruz.
Claudia Winkleman will host Sky Movies HD’s live coverage of the ceremony from their London studio, while Gethin Jones reports live from the red carpet in Los Angeles for Sky1 HD.
Airing in January, the ceremony looks set to be as entertaining and as glamorous as ever, with the award winners often anticipating the outcome for the Oscars the following month.
