Framestore CFC launch new online studio

Framestore CFC have launched 'front', a digital online studio that "revolutionises postproduction and archive management for agencies and production companies".
Facilities include an archiving service for finished commercials, artwork and soundtracks, instant data couriering, online approvals of work-in-progress, in-suite streaming and, of course, online bookings for playouts, dubs, encodes and telestreams.
With no advance fee payable, many Framestore CFC clients have already taken the opportunity to work with this innovative service.
The list of clients includes BMP, McCann Erickson, DFGW, Leagas Delaney, AMV BBDO, Leo Burnett Chicago, Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper, the COI, HRA, Academy, and Visitor LA, with many other agencies and production companies testing the system. Their response to the service has been extremely positive.
"We started using front last year," says Davud Karbassioun, TV Producer for Leagas Delaney, "Initially we used it to allow our overseas clients to see work-in-progress immediately. Since then we got a set-top box and telestreaming. We now have all our commercials from the last three years stored in a digital archive, as well as selected work from the last 10 years. This box in our edit suite enables us to create a customised showreel instantly - it has just transformed the way we work."
