Not To Scale Sign Creative Collective PUNGA

Not to Scale have announced that they have signed the PUNGA team.
The PUNGA team’s creative reputation continues to grow steadily and unabated. Founding partners Tomi and Patricio have formed a creative collective that’s strength lies in its continuing versatility and relentless desire for the new. Couple this desire to bring their own fresh perspective to an ability to create quirky character animation and design, and their huge potential as film makers is unquestionable.
PUNGA Creative DirectorTomi’s relationship with animation & visual arts started about ten years ago, having studied Graphic Design and Film Direction, Tomi first worked as an Art Director for Ogilvy in Buenos Aires, his first taste of design meeting commerce, soon led Tomi to seek out the combination of both these worlds in more detail, creating with other like minded people, the artist collective “Doma”, one of the most innovative and revolutionary groups in Buenos Aires who were well known for their immersion in the street art world, bringing colour and life to the drab walls of Buenos Aires.
After having his work being spotted by a local animation channel, Tomi quickly started working across different media platforms, from TV branding to the creation of video installations for rock bands during their gigs. After a couple of years with Doma, he decided to move on and follow his own path, forming PUNGA with Patricio Brusati. Chosen by MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, AXN and Animax to develop numerous channel packages, he made a name for himself and their studio which is now recognized as one of the most innovative and creative Latin-American animation studios operating today. Now the Advertising industry is another world that PUNGA yearn to explore and an arena for their them to make their work more visible to a wider audience.
A creative evolution has led PUNGA from motion-graphics towards a more narrative trough that utilises their funny (yet sometimes dark) character animation more appropriately. The idea of “telling a good story” has always been present in PUNGA’s work, and it’s in developing that side of their work further that Not To Scale proudly teams up with them to join their select and eclectic range of Artists represented through Not To Scale's London based studio.
