Two Appointments At dB Broadcast

A leading UK independent system integrator dB broadcast has created two new posts, which came into effect from the start of October.
Eugene Cooke joins as Business Development Manager with Jerry Lyle taking the position of Product Manager.
The post of Business Development Manager has been created in order to help dB seek out and win new business, particularly in overseas markets.
Eugene Cooke has a large amount of knowledge and experience in the broadcast industry as a senior sales executive and has spent time with Omneon and Snell & Wilcox.
He will be aiming to build on the company's strong contacts abroad, especially in Europe and the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the post of Product Manager has been created following a restructuring within dB Broadcast with the aim of placing greater emphasis on expanding the company's range of products.
Jerry Lyle will be responsible for researching potential new product lines and bringing these products to market.
He was previously Head of Development at Broadcast Technology, which became part of Harmonic in 2005, and has worked for dB on a consultancy basis since 2008.
