Sounds Professional launch the PortaPro

An innovative new location mixer has reached production, the Sounds Professional (S.P.) PortaPro.
Designed by sound engineers for sound engineers, the S.P. PortaPro introduces many new features to make the engineers job simpler and more intuitive.
All adjustments on the S.P. PortaPro can be made using recessed switches situated next to the function they control, such as phantom power for the mic’s, or ganging channels A&B.
All the connections for operating in single camera mode are located on one side, while all the connections for operating in film recordist mode are on the other side.
Everything about the S.P. Porta pro is distinctive and innovative, from the striking colour to the well-engineered machined 40mm aluminium faders. Operation is smooth and easy, control of the faders is intuitive as position can be felt so doesn’t need to be seen. Behind the fader lies a 25mm Alps Blue velvet hi-fi quality pot that offers exceptionally fine control with zero noise or distortion, and are good for thousands of hours of strenuous operation.
The four input channels are controlled by individual stepped input gains, electronically balanced to give zero to -78db of gain via a two stage pre-amp.
