Mikko Martikainen Joins Finish

Finish have announced that Mikko Martikainen has joined their 3D team.
Mikko began his career as a graphic designer and programmer in his native Finland. In 2003, he moved to London and joined Glassworks as a 3D artist. Since then, Mikko has worked as a Senior 3D artist (freelance and full-time) in several leading post production houses in London and Helsinki.
He leaves Method to join Finish, but has also worked at The Mill for over two years in both London and LA.
Highlights of his career include Vodafone (shortlisted for the BTAA craft award), Pepsi, Ford, Coke Blak, Samsung and Poseidon (nominated for the best VFX Oscar in 2007).
Finish said that Mikko had excellent visual skills complemented by strong technical knowledge of tools and processes involved in creating high-end animation and visual effects.
Justine White of Finish added: "We are thrilled to be adding another talented member to our Visual Effects team. Mikko has a fantastic reputation, reinforced by the impressive body of work behind him.
"His work is some of the most creative in the industry and he is sure to prove an asset to the company."
