Nils Fredriksen Joins Nevion As Chief Financial Officer

Nevion, a leading video transport solution provider for broadcasters, telecommunications service providers and government entities worldwide, has named Nils Fredriksen as Chief Financial Officer, working from the company's global headquarters in Sandefjord, Norway.
Nils will have overall responsiblity for Nevion's financial planning, business processes, investor relations and internal audit functions. As a key member of Nevion's global executive team, Nils will provide financial and business acumen, supporting both tactical and strategic initiatives.

Fredriksen spent the past five years as a consultant and associate principal at global consulting firm McKinsey & Company, focusing on technology, energy and private equity. There, he worked with some of the most dynamic companies in the world, maximising capital productivity and leading growth strategy, sales and channel optimisation, organisational change, M&A, and post merger management. Before that, he held a senior risk management position at Oslo-based Det Norske Veritas and engineering posts with ExxonMobil in London.
Fredriksen holds an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. His advanced education also includes studies at the University of Oslo and Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.
