The Audio Suite relocate to Custard Factory

Birmingham based postproduction facility The Audio Suite have relocated to The Custard Factory media village, at the heart of the city’s Eastside regeneration zone.
Their new 7th floor penthouse studios offer panoramic views across the city-skyline, while the workspace retains The Audio Suite's established blend of "friendly functionality and comfort for clients."
The Audio Suite’s move to their new, custom-built studio-space was timed to coincide with the final delivery of a large production run of broadcast programmes, at the end of a busy first year that included a 30 x 30 minute series for Channel 4, two x 1 hour specials for Channel 5 and two documentaries for the BBC 2 series ‘East.’
Audio Suite Managing Director, Neil Hillman, said: ”I’ve been a visitor to The Custard Factory for some time, and realised early-on that this would be a site that would allow us as a company to offer a credible alternative to the facilities on offer in London. We are, for instance, data-networked to a high-end, High Definition, Avid DS editing facility elsewhere in The Custard Factory complex. For other companies here, we can record commentary and narration in our voice-studio; distribute or receive audio material via our ISDN link, or simply exchange data through our dedicated broadband Internet access. We do also offer all the usual sound design and dubbing facilities that a client would expect, of course: OMF import or auto-conform to our Avid-compatible Fairlight Prodigy 2 system; automated mixing in 5.1, Surround or Stereo, working to DigiBeta or Beta SP”.
The Custard Factory is considered to be the most advanced wired building in the region, providing superb communication potential between both the small and medium sized media companies based there, and other remote sites, through the dedicated 100Mbps backbone internet connection.
