BECTU recommend BBC Resources revised pay offer

BECTU have recommended that members working in BBC Resources accept a revised pay offer.
Following a number of meetings with BBC Resources management a proposed pay offer, for the year from April 2003, has been negotiated.
The offer includes a 2.9% increase in pensionable salary and related payments, improvements in operational trainees' conditions and salary and a minimum basic salary of £11,834.
Representatives have described the offer as the best that can be achieved through negotiation.
BECTU members in Resources are to be balloted to accept or reject the proposals.
