QuStream Launches QuView Control System At NAB 2009

QuStream Corporation will showcase the QuView modular control system at Stand N3421 at NAB 2009.
The QuView is the latest system control GUI for controlling the Integrity 600 modular products. The system uses 10/100 Ethernet capabilities for controlling the platform via an IP network.
Regardless of where the Integrity frames are located, QuView can be used to monitor and control critical processing functions.
QuView provides the operator a powerful set of tools in an intuitive, menu-driven format that is very easy to learn and simple to use. A full director of all processing frames and the modules contained in each, is displayed as a tree that can be sorted by IP address of each frame, assigned name of each frame, or as a listing of all modules in the system with an identifier as to which frame and card slot each module is located.
You can configure QuView to display only active processing modules, only inactive modules or both active and inactive modules in the display tree. To access any frame or module, the user simply clicks on the entry for the desired device and a full interactive set of tabbed menu screens is displayed for the device.
Using the 'Batch Configuration' feature, multiple system frames or processing modules may be configured simultaneously, saving a great deal of time when creating or modifying system configuration. From the menu the operator can monitor the alarm status and health of the device, or perform any configuration function that is available from a system control panel. You can even make adjustments to, or change operating parameters of, any module in the system in real-time.
Future development efforts will incorporate routing and Pro A/V products with the aim of creating a common, system wide user interface for all QuStream products.
