Bridge Technologies Announce Release Of Version 4.0 Software

Bridge Technologies has announced the release of its version 4.0 operating software, bringing a clutch of new features and enhancements to the VideoBRIDGE monitoring and analysis product line.
Available April 2009, version 4.0 is a free-of-charge upgrade to existing customers.
New features for Bridge Technologies' VideoBRIDGE range of IP Probes provide further analysis tools and usability enhancements, including comparison views of streams and services across several interfaces; PCR graphing for Ethernet streams; an improved TS recording interface; time/loss distance measurements; MER measurements; and constellation diagram display for QAM interface. Usability is improved with search functionality through tables including the alarm table, bulk editing, and improved thumbnail rendering.
Bridge Technologies' VBC servers also receive a package of improvements with version 4.0, including grouping of streams for aggregated timeline display, support for DVB streams and alarms with enhanced configurability, and increased detail for ETR status displays. Version 4.0 software also includes an additional month's free trial of the VideoBRIDGE reporting package, allowing users to experience streamlined data integration between their Bridge Technologies monitoring systems and other management systems.
Simen K. Frostad, Chairman of Bridge Technologies, said: "Developments and enhancements of VideoBRIDGE products continue at a brisk pace, driven by our commitment to continue providing the ultimate monitoring solutions to the industry. As part of that commitment, we not only develop the features our customers need, but we also uniquely provide these upgrades free of charge."
The award-winning VideoBRIDGE probes are innovative industrial platforms for the converging services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards, such as MPEG2, h.264/AVC and ETSI TR 101 290, the VideoBRIDGE series offers a complete end-to-end system for the continuous quality assurance of a network containing streaming media services.
