Leitch strengthen leadership team with key appointments

Leitch Technology have announced two key appointments to their management team.
Robert Seufferheld joins the company as vice president of sales for the Americas, and Laura Whitaker joins as vice president of marketing communications. Seufferheld will run the Americas sales and distribution network, while Whitaker will spearhead branding and outbound marketing communications worldwide.

As vice president of sales for the Americas, Seufferheld will lead the efforts of the Leitch sales team in North & South America. A television industry veteran who has held sales management positions at the Grass Valley Group and SeaChange International, Seufferheld has in-depth knowledge of the market and a stellar reputation for building strong, high-performance sales teams. He will focus on growing market share and
refining Leitch's capacity to sell and support complex systems.
Whitaker's key mandate will be the active management of Leitch branding and marketing initiatives. During her 18 years in the television industry, she has played a significant role in the successful product launches of the Tektronix Profile video server, Sony's high-definition HDCAM series, and start-up company Omneon Video Networks' server product.
Whitaker began her career in broadcasting at KATU, Channel Two News, a Portland, Oregon, ABC affiliate.
