Pyser-SGI widen product line with new Fujinon lens

Pyser-SGI have added the new wide-angle Fujinon A13x4.5BERM broadcast lens to their product line.
Providing the widest angle of view (over 101 degrees diagonal) of any ENG lens in its class, combined with a high zoom ratio and 2x extender built in, the new versatile WidePower A13x offers enhanced creativity of field production with shots ranging from extreme close up in confined situations to distant telephoto zoom.
The fine optical quality of the 2/3-inch format A13x4.5 lens is the result of Fujinon’s exclusive new adaptation of GO-Technology. Zooming effect when focusing (pumping) has been minimised to such an extent that it is barely noticeable and virtually constant picture size is maintained. Also, distortion at the wide-angle setting has been reduced to only about 1%. Although offering a wider angle of view, the A13x is shorter than its A10x4.8 predecessor and weighs only 1.83 kg.
The A13x4.5 offers the operational benefits of Fujinon’s DigiPower servo technology, with functions such as Quickzoom, Auto-cruising zoom, one-shot preset and serial digital remote control via PC.
The lens is also available as the HA13x4.5 for HDTV applications.
