Sony and Oplayo sign software distribution deal

Mobile streaming video technology company Oplayo have secured a 12-month contract to supply the Oplayo Composer Pro 2.0 Lite for Sony's DSR-PDX10 professional video camera.
Oplayo’s synchronised rich media software product enables anyone with a web server to create synchronised video and audio content for streaming over the Internet. The new contract means that users of the Sony DSR-PDX10 video camera can ‘anycast’ a message, creating content and delivering it immediately on almost any platform.
Oplayo’s Composer Pro product benefits from its simple graphical user interface (GUI) and a 'player-less' viewing environment that offers the simplest, most extensive and fastest streaming video on the world market.
Olivier Bovis, product marketing manager, Sony Business Europe, said: “We are pleased to be forming a closer relationship with Oplayo to further the anycast solutions offering. By using the Oplayo-enabled video camera our customers have a quick and simple route to stream video on the Internet.”
