Visions Clinch Double With Coverage Of Champions League And Cheltenham Festival

NEP Visions made sure that footie fans caught all the nail-biting action this week as Manchester United knocked Inter Milan out of the Champions League.
The outside broadcast company gave viewers around the world the best seat at Old Trafford in the same week as it provided all the racing from Cheltenham Festival - one of the most high-profile events in the sporting calendar.
With Alex Ferguson's team still on track for an unprecedented clean sweep of trophies, Visions was on the ball to make sure host broadcaster Sky and Italian state broadcaster RAI didn't miss a crucial second.
Visions fielded a crew of 90 to provide premier coverage including three state-of-the-art HD production units. Of the 30 HD cameras, there were high-speed slow-mo and several were remote. There were also a dozen EVS machines in the tapeless replay and edit truck.
A total of 26 fully-equipped commentary positions were also made available for international broadcasters.
Director of Operations, John Turnbull, explained: "A standard Premier League game would typically use 15 to 20 cameras, but the world-class coverage we provide for Sky means we provided the same number of cameras as we did for the UEFA Champions League final in 2008.
"This match was a very big deal for football fans and we were delighted to have helped Sky and the other broadcasters provide the best service for their viewers."
Also this week Visions provided coverage of all the 26 races at the Cheltenham Festival including the Cheltenham Festival including the Cheltenham Gold Cup, for production company High Flyer and Channel Four.
Visions' truck solution included all camera facilities and EVS editing equipment to ensure all the action on the course and in the paddock was captured in full for the racing viewers.
With five large production vehicles and numerous crew and equipment this was a major logistical exercise to ensure that the viewers got the 'Cheltenham experience' in their homes and enjoyed racing at its best - proving NEP Visions is a safe bet for any sporting challenge.
